Rosemary verbenone contains less camphor than common Rosemary and is widely regarded as being safer to use within topical applications. The aroma is more herbaceous and is preferred by many.

Rosemary oil has many applications. Diffusing the oil into the air will disinfect the room. Using the oil in a massage oil may help with sore muscles.
