Crowning the heads of ancient intellectual and political leaders, the leaves were a long time symbol of victory and honor.  Including them in nourishing soups and stews adds depth to flavor.  Bay Laurel essential oil is an herbaceous, sage-like, spicy aroma noted for it's broad spectrum and anti-viral properties.  The wetter this soap gets, the richer its warm, medicinal aroma becomes.  It is garnished with crushed bay leaves for subtle texture and to contribute aromatic complexity to one of our finest soaps.
