Calamine is an essential first-aid remedy and we should all have a Calamine Soap on hand. I first developed this soap for personal use after tomato-picking forays. The plant (along with others in the garden) has prickly leaves and causes my skin to get red and itchy. The soap worked to soothe my irritated skin and I’ve gathered other testimonies since. From Shingles to shave burn, this bar covers it all. Calamine is a mineral blend of zinc and iron oxides that create the beautiful color we see in the soap and other commercial products (think Pepto). The astringent and anti-itch properties of zinc and iron oxides coat and soothe inflamed, irritated skin. At the end of a long day in the bush, the garden, or the sun, let us be your calamine!  

Ingredients:

Saponified olive, coconut & castor oils, fresh goat milk and Calamine mineral. 

No synthetic dyes, fragrances, preservatives, or filler ingredients. Palm oil-free. Handmade on our Wisconsin farm.
